The two main reasons for buying the car were (1) reducing the need to burn fossil fuels, emit CO2, and destroy the environment needed by humans & other species on the planet (2) to enjoy all the other benefits of a fully electric vehicle (low running costs, low noise, ease of driving, "zippy" performance, low maintenance). Everyone's next vehicle purchase should be and must be (if at all possible) a fully electric vehicle.
